What a Reward!

Rewards are all good. Everyone of us wants to receive rewards from our job-well-done work. We always work for a reason. We exert effort to get paid of. We do everything for a biggest promotion. Moreover, we work for our future, right?

We always expect rewards form others. Their good compliment and endorsement might give you a chance to promote you on a higher position. Let me remind you, rewards form other people might disappoint you as well. Those you received from them might not reach the standard you were expecting to have. We try to impress our boss for promotion. We try to overwhelm our professors with our excellent performance for high grades. We try to amaze our parents for biggest allowance. We make use of effort for us to receive rewards. If all these are always base on our performance and own strength, do you think we deserve the Grace of God? God will pour-out His grace to us not because we are brilliant and outstanding. He loves us so much and as a result He can’t stop His hands to bless us tremendously. Whoever you are right now, that’s all because God decided to put you there.

When we do something, do it for the glory of God. Let’s expect rewards from God – promotion that comes from Him. He can give you more than you can imagine. Whatever God does is final. Nothing he does can ever be changed and no one can take that from you (Ecclesiastes 3:14). When God provides surely that’s all you need!

Let me tell you the truth, God is so rich that He can give you everything you need. Everything we have comes from Him. His love sustains us. His grace is enough. His unfailing love teaches us not to give up. His faithfulness keeps us moving forward. His extraordinary ways teach us to be excited everyday. His miracles encourage us to believe that nothing is impossible with Him. His wonderful deeds help us to expect more from Him. Every answered prayer teaches us to hope for more abundant blessings. The cross signifies that we should go back to the owner of our lives. The One who paid us from the ugly-salesman (satan) with His precious blood. What a Reward!

We can’t afford to lose Jesus, losing Him is like losing everything.
